A publication on inheritance

Back cover - Maternal grandma Tam Cha Boo and maternal grandpa Kuek Thiam Huak

I designed a tote bag featuring my chronic bunions and my grandmas'. Each of my grandmas were given one. 13 bags were given out to contributors who will contribute to Permanent Bruises, a publication on the topic of inheritance.

The contributors were myself, my mother Lucy Kuek, Roz Crews, Harrell Fletcher, Amanda Lee Koe, Luther Bangert, Faye Lim, Roy Payamal, Emily Fitzgerald, Sean Minng Chien, Anupam Singh and Crystal Jiko Sasaki and Marsha Barton.

Permanent Bruises was distributed via the tote bag when contributors carried it around in their everyday lives
