I created and performed in this piece for the Theatre Studies and Drama 'A' Level exam when I was 18. At the giddy peak of discovering The Beatles, I fancied myself a flower child in a life-size Sgt. Pepper album cover lamenting the death of the hippy dream.

prized possession peace sign
attempt to be in the world
love for John, Paul, George and Ringo
wish to be part of the summer of love
desire to find a world outside Singapore, outside the everyday
