I would sit on his lap

9 min, 2018
Mission Lake, Washington USA
Made at Rockland Woods 2018

Pondering the ardent nature of love relationships and how they find and cradle us, two real voices meander through lily groves and murky depths in a sparkling lake.

This film was a response to site - site as people, site as a relationship. The site was Jodi Rockwell and Shawn Landis, lovers who started Rockland Woods, an artist residency in Washington USA.

An iPhone 6, waterproof phone case, goggles, flippers, sound recorder and bodies moving in water were the instruments used.
