Wishmoon

by Singapierrot (Ng Xi Jie & Roy Payamal)

45 mins, 2012, Dbl O Art Space, as part of Action Parties #3

A reinvented Pierrot and Pierrette, the forlorn clown lovers of European yore, act as unlikely teachers in this performance art happening, silently interacting and guiding seated audience through an enigmatic wish-making ritual. Clowns and humans get in touch with the universe, ending with a grotesque voyage to/into the moon balloon.
